BEST REASON TO HAVE TASTE BUDS !!!!!!!!!!!!! CHARLIE STAPLES IS THE BEST REASON TO HAVE TASTE BUDS. I LIVE IN LOS ANGELES CALI AND ANY TIME I'M IN THE AREA I MUST GO TO THIS PLACE AND WHEN EVER I'M AT HOME (LA) MY FRIENDS AND I HAVE THE SAUCE SHIPED FOR OUR BAR B QUE'S. CHARLIE AND HIS WIFE IS ALSO A MUST. WHEN EVER YOU GO IN TO THIS JAMM PACKED PLACE ASK TO MEET THE TWO OF THEM. IF THEIR THERE THEY WILL COME OUT AND MAKE YOU FEEL RIGHT AT HOME.

"The Taste is in the Flavor" I grew up in Youngstown and on C.Staples/Charlie Staples BBQ. I live in California now, and have yet to taste a sauce as good as Charlie Staples. The breast strips with sauce poured over the fries is a true winner! Staples had closed for a short time, but opened at a new, better location. My friends and I were ecstatic, because Charlie Staples BBQ is truly a "staple" in the community. The new location has a nice dining area and full bar. The owners, Charles and Margaret, are very nice and personable. Charlie Staples is definitely tried and true!

the service I grew up in this area and was so pleased to see that Staples was brought back. The one problem with the old C Staples was the attitude of staff; and i see new location and owners but the same rude service. When you call they will not answer the phone, or treat you as if their doing you a favor by letting you spend your money there. I pre- ordered and still had to wait 45 mins for my order. Many people I've talked to have had the same experiences. The economy is to bad to take people money and treat them as if they are not important. I own my business and this practice is not going to continue to produce life long customers. Word of mouth can make or break your business. There is now a new bar b que place in boardman on market and their good and the service also.
